
Product Description
The chemical compound trichloroethylene is a halocarbon commonly used as an industrial solvent. It is a clear, colourless non-flammable liquid with a chloroform-like sweet smell, which is commonly known as chlorothene.
Industrial abbreviations include TCE, trichlor, Trike, Tricky and tri. It has been sold under a variety of trade names. Under the trade names Trimar and Trilene.

Excellent solvent, used as metal surface treatment agent, cleaning agent before electroplating and painting, metal degreasing agent and extraction agent of fat, oil and paraffin. Used in organic synthesis, pesticide production. Trichloroethylene is used to produce tetrachloroethylene and can be used as an insect repellent. It is used in the production of hexachloroethane as a veterinary deworming agent for the control of liver and stomach bdelliasis, orchidasis and nematodiasis in ruminants.

Method Of Storage And Transportation
Storage Precautions Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. The temperature of the storage is not more than 32℃, and the relative humidity is not more than 80%. The package should be sealed and not in contact with air. It should be stored separately from oxidants, reducing agents, alkalis, metal powders and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed. Do not store in large quantities or for a long time. Equipped with the corresponding variety and quantity of fire equipment. The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment and suitable containment materials.
Protective Measures
Respiratory protection: When possible contact with its vapor, you should wear a self-priming filter gas mask (half mask). In case of emergency rescue or evacuation, wear a circulating oxygen respirator.
Eye protection: Wear chemical safety glasses.
Body protection: Wear protective work clothes.
Hand protection: Wear chemical-resistant gloves.
